On 26th June 2026, on the International Day against Drug Abuse and Illicit Trafficking, more than 15,000 students across 121 Akal Academies came together in one synchronized movement with a shared resolve to stand against drug abuse and choose a future rooted in values, purpose and responsibility.
The initiative has been recognised by the World Book of Records, London, a milestone that reflects the strength of a united community committed to positive change.

The bravery and courage of Bhai Sahib Ji continue to inspire generations. Bhai Taru Singh Ji chose to uphold his faith despite immense persecution, accepting the removal of his scalp rather than allowing his unshorn hair (kesh) to be cut by force.
