Baru Sahib, a 450-acre Educational Campus situated in the serene valleys of the Himalayas, is blessed by nature and the vision of the Revered Founding Saints, Sant Attar Singh Ji, Sant Teja Singh Ji, and Sant Baba Iqbal Singh Ji. Following the vision of the Revered Founding Saints, today, under the leadership of Hon’ble Dr. Davinder Singh Ji (MBBS, MD), President of The Kalgidhar Trust, the campus offers the complete educational spectrum from Nursery to Ph.D. through an International School and a girls-only university.

The pioneer educational institution of the entire Kalgidhar Education Ecosystem is Akal Academy Baru Sahib, an International School established in 1986 by Revered Sant Baba Iqbal Singh Ji with just five students. Today, it provides value-based education to students from Nursery to Grade 12.

The school offers a unique combination of three curricula - International Baccalaureate (IB), Cambridge Assessment International Education (CAIE) and the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE).

The second educational establishment on the Baru Sahib campus is

Eternal University which offers higher education exclusively for girls, with programmes ranging from undergraduate to Ph.D. level. The University comprises seven colleges:

1. Dr. Khem Singh Gill Akal College of Agriculture -

Named after the renowned agricultural scientist Hon'ble Dr. Khem Singh Gill Ji, the college is NAAC accredited and offers comprehensive education in agriculture, combining scientific knowledge with practical learning and research.

2. Akal College of Health and Allied Sciences

The first private nursing college in Himachal Pradesh, accredited by the Indian Nursing Council, New Delhi, and approved by the Himachal Pradesh Nurses Registration Council (HPNRC), the college offers specialised programmes from undergraduate to Ph.D. level in Nursing and Allied Health Sciences.

3. Akal College of Basic Sciences

The College offers programmes in Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Microbiology, Zoology and Botany, providing students with a strong foundation in the basic sciences.

4. Akal College of Economics, Commerce & Management

In view of the rapid changes in the global economy, the relevance of Economics, Commerce, and Management education has become increasingly important. The college offers undergraduate, postgraduate and doctoral programmes in these disciplines, preparing future professionals and leaders.

5. Akal College of Education

Approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE), the college offers a B.Ed. programme that reflects its commitment to excellence in teacher education and professional training.

6. Akal College of Engineering & Technology

A Gurukul of modern technical education, the college offers specialised programmes in Computer Science & Engineering, equipping students with the knowledge and practical skills required in today's technology-driven world.

7. Akal College of Arts & Social Sciences

The College offers programmes in Music, English, Psychology, Punjabi, and Education, fostering intellectual growth while preserving India's rich cultural, literary, and artistic heritage. Renowned for its Department of Music, the College provides specialised training in both ancient and contemporary string instruments, including the Rabab, Dilruba, Sarangi, Taus, Violin and many more, enabling students to promote legacy of the ancient musical traditions.
