Goal: To Tolerate injustice is a bigger crime than committing it.

Shri Guru Hargobind Ji, revered as the Sixth Nanak was born to Mata Ganga ji and the fifth Guru, Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji  in 1595 at village Vadali with the blessings of Baba Budha Ji.

Guru Hargobind Singh Ji was up brought by keeping the contemporary conditions as main concern. Baba Budha Ji trained him not only in the worldly education but also in swordsmanship, agriculture and politics. Baba Budha Ji was foresighted and knew about the coming time so he taught him horse riding as well.

After the martyrdom of Shri Guru Arjan Dev Ji, he became our sixth guru. He became guru in his childhood at the age of 8. He was very intelligent and foresighted. The swords worn by Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji were of Miri-Piri. Guru Hargobind Sahib Ji explained that the first sword, Miri, symbolized worldly authority, while Piri represented spirituality, his convergence of worldly authority and spirituality. After releasing the 52 kings from the fort of Gwaliar, he gave the message of welfare of humanity. That’s why Guru Ji was also called Bandi Shod Guru. His life gives us inspiration that tolerating and committing crime is a sin. According to historians, there was a huge transformation after he became the successor of Guru Nanak’s Gurugadhi.
