Vocabulary Quiz
Goal: To enrich vocabulary and build up confidence in speaking language.
A vocabulary quiz was organized by students and teachers of Amul House on 3rd October 2020. The Language Department too collaborated during the entire process. It was a platform to learn vocabulary in a very interesting way. There were four teams; Abhay, Ajay, Amul and Atul; participants were empowered to apply the language, social, and creative thinking skills. The quiz was organized in two groups, Grade Nursery-I, and Grade II-V. There were various rounds including Hunt for the meaning, Dictionary Round, Rapid Fire, Picture Identification, Spelling round and Jumbled words.[read more]
Students at Akal Academy go through various learning experiences to put the word into context to understand the meaning. Students create an image, an action–some visual or kinesthetic movement that will imprint their brains. This is not merely a memorization but explores the meaning using various resources. Results are given below:
