15th August Independence Day

15 th August is one of those days of the year when patriotism is in the air. The occasion is celebrated with great zeal and gusto across the country, and the official celebrations take place at the Red Fort in New Delhi. People hoist the tricolour flag, sing the national anthem, fly kites and enthusiastically participate in cultural events.As a customary,Akal Academy,Baru Sahib has also celebrated the Nation’s 74th Independence Day.
