ENGLISH COMPETITION
Topic:
Calligraphy Handwriting Art
Objective
The aim of the competition is to encourage the students to write neatly and present the
content in a proper manner. In this competition, all students will exhibit their writing
skills in different forms of calligraphy. The aim is to improve presentation skills and
to inculcate the habit of good handwriting among students.

Competition Pattern and Evaluation Criteria
The following points are considered while evaluating the answer papers:
a) Legibility and neatness.
b) Font formation and uniformity in fonts.
c) Joining or connectivity between letters (in cursive handwriting) and spacing
between letters (in print handwriting). d) Pen strokes and their angle.
e) Legibility in the formation of numbers.
Students’ participation report
The students from class VIth to Xth participated in the competition with great
enthusiasm and showed excellent creativity through their writing skills.
Awards: The award distribution function will be held in the morning assembly.
